Mexico Import Risk Checker

An educational pre-shipment screening tool for Mexico import readiness: importer identity, RFC, Padron, HS code, NOM, broker coordination and IMMEX route.

This tool helps organize pre-shipment questions before goods move into Mexico. It flags points to verify; it does not issue clearance, approval, or final shipping decisions.

Answer the questions to generate a screening result

The output will list points to verify, not a compliance conclusion.

Your screening output will appear here. No information is stored by this static page.

How to use this

Answer for the shipment you are actually planning, not the one you wish you had. The result groups the weak points into categories and turns each one into a question you can take to the responsible party: the Mexican importer, the customs broker, or whoever owns the IMMEX program.

What the screening looks at

  • Importer and registration: whether a Mexican importer of record is named and whether RFC and Padron are confirmed.
  • Classification and standards: whether the HS code has been reviewed and whether NOM uncertainty has been checked.
  • Route and coordination: whether the IMMEX route and program holder are clear and whether a single broker is coordinating.
  • Timing: how far along the shipment is, because problems are cheaper to fix while planning than after the goods move.

What this does not do

It does not classify your product, validate a registration, or confirm that a route is correct. It does not clear a shipment or replace a customs broker, tax advisor, or qualified IMMEX specialist. A "lower" result means fewer open points were detected from your answers, not that the shipment is approved.
